Laura Buntemeyer comes to the team with Gilmour teammate Betsy Franke where they were part of the first Gilmour team to beat rival Culver Academy.

She received multiple art awards in high school and is an avid photographer and drummer. Buntemeyer also plays tennis and lacrosse.

Buntemeyer’s speed and agility will add a lot to a developing team. Coach Maxwell says of it; “I look forward to watching Bunts develop into one of the best players in the ACHA and to set many team records.”

Personal
Buntemeyer is the youngest daughter to John and Donna. Her older siblings are John (27) and Julie (30).

2008-09 Season
Buntemeyer played in all 15 games of the first half of the season. Her first collegiate goal came on October 25 during a win against Northern Michigan (4-2) in Columbus, OH. She leads the team with the best face-off circle performance for the season; 56.98%.
