Season Notes

Get your I love Taylor Davidson T-Shirt   Taylor Davidson started with the team January of 2005. She was a four-year letter winner on the Assumption High School hockey team where she was the captain, leading scorer and MVP all four years of her career there. In 2003 she received the team’s scholar-athlete award.

Davidson’s high school athletic talent was beyond hockey. She was also a two-year letter winner in rowing and named MVP of novice rowing team in 2002 and Most Improved varsity rower in 2003.

Davidson is a member and president of National Honor Society, a member of the Beta Club and the French Honor Society.

2005-06 Season
Davidson recorded her first points of the season by getting an assist in each of the Penn State games.

2004-05 Season
Davidson finished the 2004-05 season playing in 13 games, registering 24 blocked shots, 2 assists and 10 shots on net. She averaged over 20 minutes of ice time a game. She recorded her first point as a Buckeye on Saturday January 22 during the "Game for the Puck against Michigan.

Personal
Davidson is the daughter of Karen Cost and stepfather J.R. Curtin. She has a stepbrother, Rob Curtin, and a stepsister, Emily Curtin. She plans to work in international health or become an orthopedic surgeon, specializing in sports medicine after graduation.

Davidson also enjoys playing other sports, sailing and working out.
