Lis Thomas is the lone Canadian on the team, hailing from Courtice, Ontario and currently residing in Centerville, OH. She played varsity boys hockey for her high school in Centerville and her younger sister Rebekah currently plays for that same team.
In addition to hockey, Thomas played varsity lacrosse where she was the team captain and received the Coaches Award.
Academically, Thomas was a member of the National Honor Society, an All Academic Athlete, a member of the French Club and graduated in the top 10% of her class with an outstanding GPA (4.1).
Thomas is a strong addition to the team’s young defensive core. Her coaches look for her to add to the score board from the blue line for this season and to become a future leader in the locker room.
Personal
Thomas is the oldest daughter to Mike and Nancy. She has three siblings; Stephen (20), Rebekah (16) and Peter (14).
2008-09 Season
Thomas made an impact in her first collegiate game, scoring a power play goal and tallying 11 shots on net. She is an ice warrior, averaging 23:39 of ice time a game.
